We'd love to have you!
Whether you are interested in joining the Juneau Festival Association Board for Year-Round Participation, or you're interested in just being a part on the day of parade; we can find something for you to do! If you're available to assist, email us your name, phone number, what you're available for and we'll get back to you with details!
We have an application process for future board members, $10 annual Board Members' dues and a few meetings through the winter to discuss future parade details. We are in dire need of support in all categories. If you love the 4th of July Parade and want to be a part of putting it all together, we'd love to meet you!
All Positions are Volunteer and require only a few hours per month!
We Need Board Members: Co-Director of Parade, Secretary, Treasurer, Social Media Director, Sponsor Liaison and Advisors.
We Need Day of Parade Help: Parade Security Officers, Judges Tally, Parade Grand Marshal Drivers, Awards Distributer, Judges Supervisor, Photographer, Traffic Control Assistant and Greeters.
Do you look great in neon? We need a team of people interested in keeping the parade moving! Think whistles and perfecting your parade wave!
Seeking individuals to assist in setting up various parade related things beforehand. Staging crew will help our Staging Director organize a seamless parade line up.
We need a couple of people to quickly tabulate the Grand Marshals votes on the various judged float categories so we can quickly print and distribute the awards as well as banners for our float winners!
This year we will have a fun Eagle in costume walking around and we'd love to have someone with a simple camera, even a phone, to take photos with parade goers as well as the morning set-up events and various float winners!
